The Faculty of Engineering rated number 1 Engineering School in Australia is renowned worldwide for its quality and calibre of teaching, research and graduates. Their research activities provide a platform for establishing a thriving educational enterprise and our staff are committed to creating a dynamic learning environment. The research activities range from fundamental studies to research with a strong application orientation.
The Faculty are looking for their next Events and Administration Coordinator who will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver targeted and engaging events as well as delivering efficient and timely administration support to the Senior Operations Coordinator and Manager.
The successful candidate will plan, coordinate and deliver events for the Monash Innovation Labs including industry engagement events, conferences, seminars, tours and visits. They will also undertake key administration functions to enhance the smooth and professional running of the Monash Innovation Labs and Makerspace Network.
Key responsibilities for this position include:

Managing and coordinating a range of events and engagement projects within strict timelines to exacting standards within Monash Innovation Labs

Delivering a range of complex administrative processes including producing reports and marketing materials, facilitating communication and workflow, operational support

Actively participating in, developing and implementing continuous improvement activities

Building and sustaining effective working relationships
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
-
Demonstrated experience in event coordination including the successful delivery and support of multiple well executed events.

Experience providing excellent administrative support services in a busy and complex environment

Strong administrative skills, including demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail, ability to draft and prepare a range of documentation and appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information

Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

Highly developed computer literacy, including experience using business software such as Microsoft Office and the Google Suite
