Join the McKinnon Institute of Political Leaders as a Program Manager.

The McKinnon Institute for Political Leadership (MKI) is a non-partisan organisation that is committed to a thriving and vibrant Australian democracy. Through professional development for political leaders and their key advisers, it aims to support better Ministers and Governments, and promote good Parliamentary and political culture. The Institute designs and delivers innovative and globally unique programs.

The Institute is a partnership between the Susan McKinnon Foundation and Monash University, combining the entrepreneurial culture of a start-up with the support and resources of Australia’s largest University.

The Program Manager is a key member of the academic team at the McKinnon Institute for Political Leadership. As the successful candidate you will support the Head of Programs and Program Leaders in the design, development, delivery and assessment of the McKinnon Institute’s portfolio of educational programs.

As the successful candidate you will work collaboratively and adaptively as part of cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery of the Institute’s programs and projects, maintaining strong partnerships with other functional areas and key staff. Additionally, you will coordinate and proactively support Institute staff, faculty and partners, in designing, developing and adapting content, curriculum, instruction and evaluation.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires  postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
