The Opportunity

The Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS) is seeking a talented Research Fellow to join the Centre for Medicine Use and Safety. This position specifically supports the program "Educating Health Professionals through a Knowledge Transfer Framework to Reduce Use of High-Risk and/or Unnecessary Medicines," funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care under the Quality Use of Diagnostics, Therapeutics, and Pathology Program.

Based at Monash University’s Centre for Medicine Use and Safety, the Research Fellow will be involved in planning and conducting research activities, analysing data, and disseminating findings aimed at optimizing medication use and improving medication safety. This role offers the opportunity to demonstrate leadership in national health priority areas, with a focus on improving health outcomes across Australia.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, diligent, and possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strong project management abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
