The Opportunity
The Cyber Security Project Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects as part of the cyber program with significant impact on Cyber Risk and Resilience. The position works closely with Program Management and project stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver projects in accordance with agreed scope, schedule and budget to achieve strategic outcomes aligned with the cyber security strategy.
These Senior PM’s will be an integral part of Project Reach within Monash University. Led by the Group CISO, Project Reach is accountable for driving positive and sustainable change in people, process and technology, across all of Monash University and its controlled entities also known as the Monash Group.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have
- Experience in supporting change initiatives in a large and complex organisation with a good technical understanding of enterprise technologies and a clear grasp on common modern cybersecurity concepts and terminology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to influence and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders with experience in large scale change initiatives.
- Highly developed relationship management and consulting skills, including the ability to interact, influence and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills with a proven record of successfully managing all aspects of medium to large scale projects through to completion preferably within cyber security, in accordance with project management methodologies, standards, timeframes and budgets
- Project Management experience across international borders would be highly desirable
