The Opportunity

Monash University, Prato campus is seeking a dedicated Student Support and Wellbeing Officer to play a vital role in enhancing student experience and wellbeing. This position provides complex administrative and advisory support to students and academic programs, while acting as a key liaison between Monash University, its global partners, external service providers, and the vibrant student community in Prato.

This position will be responsible for supporting all aspects of student wellbeing and program operations, including acting as the first point of contact for health, safety, and welfare concerns. You will contribute to planning, policy, and quality assurance processes while ensuring best practices in service delivery. The role includes providing informed advice to students, visiting academic staff and stakeholders, managing incidents with empathy and efficiency, coordinating events and program activities, and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal teams and external providers. Your proactive communication and problem-solving skills will be critical in maintaining a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students and staff alike.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have native (or near native) written and oral Italian and excellent English communication skills, along with a proven track record in delivering high-level administrative support in fast-paced environments. You will demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, attention to detail, and a high level of computer literacy. A collaborative and empathetic approach, sound judgement, and commitment to student care and service excellence is essential to success in this role.
