Remuneration: Pro-rata of $83,424 - $95,825 pa HEW Level 5 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

If you are a current Monash Master’s or PhD student and can work 3 days per week, the  Monash Research Office has an exciting opportunity for you - Join the Awards team as an Assistant Grants Officer!

The MRO Awards team has a number of vacancies for part-time (0.6FTE), 1 year fixed-term positions as an Assistant Grants Officer. In this role you will be trained to follow existing business processes to provide a range of professional and high-quality post-award administrative services, including:

  • Responding to enquiries via phone and email,
  • Working in Pure and UniCRM
  • Award set-up activities
  • Drafting multi-institutional agreements (MIA’s), 
  • Processing variations to funding agreements
  • Submitting progress and final reports. 

Further, you will maintain service standards, including prompt issue resolution, data integrity and adherence to privacy, confidentiality and compliance requirements.

Ideal candidates will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a tertiary qualification in a relevant field; or substantial relevant skills and work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Law students are particularly encouraged to apply.
