The Opportunity
This position is located within the Student Experience portfolio. The portfolio is focused on ensuring our audiences have the best possible experience - personalised to their interest and the way they want to engage with Monash.
We are seeking a passionate individual to support the development of our campus identities through creating a cohesive narrative and program of opportunities for our students that balances the unique character of each campus with the distinct Monash experience.
This role is more than just a project management position, it is creative and hands-on, requiring the ability to deliver innovative and engaging experiences that capture the attention and imagination of the campus community. The role will be responsible for coordinating across portfolios and faculties bringing ideas to life through project management, stakeholder collaboration and a deep understanding of what drives audience engagement. This position is a key liaison point between the Portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Experience) and Senior Vice-President, the University and internal and external client groups, and works closely with internal stakeholders and student associations to ensure alignment with objectives.
In this role you will:

Coordinate and administer the delivery of a high-quality program of campus-based events and experiences

Administering critical campus-based leadership forums, student engagement initiatives and community facing committees

Exercise strong budget management for the projects and initiatives managed

Undertake research, data analysis and management in relation to audience engagement activities

Work across the Caulfield, Clayton and Peninsula campuses
The successful candidate will have

Excellent project management skills with a background in community facing project delivery

Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to form beneficial relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders

Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and recommend solutions to challenging issues
