The Opportunity

The Faculty of Arts is looking for an organised and proactive School Administrative Officer to support the smooth and effective operation of the School and its Centres. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate resources, manage space and events, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to the Faculty’s strategic goals and the overall success of its programs and initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of administrative tasks, including managing processes, responding to queries, and providing advice on policy and procedures. You will arrange school events, oversee space and resource management, and support project administration while maintaining high standards of customer service. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with privacy and safety requirements, and support the School’s risk management and operational objectives.

As the successful candidate, you will possess exceptional administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and deliver accurate outcomes under deadlines. You will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, alongside well-developed written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. High computer literacy, including proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and a commitment to excellence in service delivery are essential.
