The Opportunity

The Senior Curriculum Services Coordinator delivers high-quality, professional curriculum services and customer support to Arts staff, ensuring compliance with University policies, governance requirements and agreed service standards. The role coordinates and operationalises curriculum lifecycle activities including enquiry management, curriculum governance processes, data and reporting, publications and quality assurance, while providing expert advice to stakeholders and team members.

Working collaboratively within the Curriculum Services team and in close partnership with Faculty governance committees and key business units, the position contributes to planning, continuous improvement and cyclical review of operational processes. Operating under broad direction from the Curriculum Services Manager, the role exercises a high level of independence, initiative and judgement to resolve complex issues, undertake analysis and reporting, and take accountability for outcomes.

As the successful candidate, you will have sound knowledge of the tertiary education regulatory environment, curriculum frameworks and curriculum management systems, with experience developing and implementing curriculum-related policies, procedures and processes, ideally within higher education. You will demonstrate strong planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.

You will work effectively both independently and as part of a team, applying sound judgement, initiative and adaptability to solve problems and deliver practical solutions. Strong analytical, communication and relationship management skills will enable you to provide expert advice, present complex information clearly, and engage confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders.
