Monash University Accommodation invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified professionals for multiple on-site roles within its Front Office, Admissions and Operations portfolios. These positions are primarily based on-site at the Clayton campus and require a strong physical presence across Monash University Accommodation precincts. Appointment types and durations will vary in response to operational needs, with opportunities available on both an ongoing and fixed-term basis.
Monash University Accommodation oversees all aspects of on-campus accommodation, and is home to a diverse and inclusive residential community supporting more than 3,000 residents living on campus. As a central pillar of the Monash student experience, Monash University Accommodation provides safe, supportive, and engaging living environments that promote academic achievement, personal development, and lifelong connection.
Monash University Accommodation also provides additional accommodation support to students through a Preferred Accommodation Provider Program and the delivery of information and resources on the private rental market for the broader student community.

This strategic EOI seeks experienced and motivated professionals to support the core functions that underpin the accommodation experience. Appointees will join a high-performing, student-focused team and contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence across accommodation services.
A connected, on-site service model
The Information and Services Officer, Operations Officer, and Admissions Officer roles each contribute to a shared service continuum that supports students from their first interaction with Monash University Accommodation through to their daily residential experience.

Admissions Officers provide a strong foundation for the residential journey through desk-based, on-site coordination of accommodation enquiries, applications, offers, and allocations. Their work ensures fair, transparent, and student-centred accommodation admissions outcomes that optimise occupancy and align with policy and operational requirements.

Information and Services Officers working directly with residents and visitors, Information and Services Officers provide in-person support for check-in/departures, respond to enquiries, and provide on-site services, ensuring a welcoming, informed, and responsive residential experience and business service.

Operations Officers maintain the physical and operational integrity of the residential environment through active, hands-on engagement across the various on-campus accommodation complexes. This role involves being out in the precincts, conducting inspections, identifying issues, and liaising with contractors and service providers to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Together, these roles form an integrated, on-site service model that connects admissions, daily support, and operational oversight to deliver a seamless and high-quality experience.

Experience in operational coordination, facilities or service management, admissions, or student services, with the ability to adapt across different functional contexts.

Eligibility
These opportunities are open to suitably qualified candidates with experience in student services, facilities or operations management, hotel or accommodation services, admissions, or related fields. Applications are welcomed from both internal and external candidates.
