The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager in CMUS, the focus of this role will be to provide a variety of high-quality research services to support the operations of our research group that focuses on health services research in primary care and the primary/secondary care interface. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for working closely with researchers, project managers, clinicians, other project staff and students to understand the research requirements and operates with excellence in process and judgement to provide efficient research services in accordance with research protocols and standards. You will be conducting interviews with patients, their carers and health professionals in different care settings – general practice clinics, pharmacies, nursing homes, patient homes (face to face, telephone, video conference), conducting point of care testing, biometric measurements, and assisting with sample collection for laboratory tests.

If you have a current unrestricted nursing registration with AHPRA (Div.1), have Registered Nurse/ Enrolled Nurse (RN/EN) qualifications, and have good work ethic, strong written and verbal skills, the ability to work within a team, independently and be able to multi-task, we encourage you to apply. General Practice experience and intermediate to advance computer skills are desirable, but not essential. A valid driver’s license and willingness to drive to general practice clinics, patient homes and other care settings, will be required.

This is advertised as a full-time role, but we are open to negotiating to a part-time fraction for candidate(s) pending on the applicants requirements.
