Remuneration: $86,344 - $$99,179 pa HEW Level 05 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Recruitment Support Coordinator, the Onboarding Officer ensures a smooth transition for new hires and current staff moving into new roles by managing pre-commencement checks and processes. This role focuses on overseeing onboarding documentation and ensuring seamless payroll setup for new employees. This role will also support the broader administrative duties performed by the Recruitment Support team.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage employment checks for new staff
  • Verify and process onboarding documents, including contracts, tax forms, and background checks
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and complete paperwork
  • Address onboarding inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Generate and present onboarding metrics reports to HR management
  • Provide high-level customer service and ensure compliance with policies and regulations

A demonstrated history of strong administration and organisational skills, commitment to excellence in customer service and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are all essential for success in this role.
