The Opportunity
The Senior Student Services Officer provides high-quality administrative and operational support to the delivery of student and academic services across the School, with a strong focus on service excellence and best practice. The role supports all stages of the student lifecycle, including prospective and current student enquiries, admissions, enrolment, orientation, course progression and completion, with a specific focus on international programs and student mobility.
Working within a specialist functional area, the Senior Student Services Officer delivers expert advice and case-managed support for complex student, course and program matters, ensuring timely and effective outcomes for students and stakeholders. The role works closely with colleagues across the Students and Education Services team to promote collaboration, consistency and continuous improvement in service delivery across campuses.
As the successful candidate, you will bring excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and contribute to the development of effective operational processes and systems. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service excellence and take a proactive, hands-on approach to supporting students and stakeholders in a complex and fast-paced environment.
You will have strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively while also exercising sound judgement, initiative and independence. Highly developed computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new systems are essential, along with experience delivering frontline services within a complex educational or student services environment. Previous experience in student mobility would be highly regarded.
