The Opportunity

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is seeking a motivated Research Fellow (Level A) to join an international team on an Australian Research Council Linkage Project focused on inhaled drug delivery and fluid dynamics. This research-only role offers the opportunity to contribute to the University’s research while developing expertise through defined projects in engineering and fluid dynamics.

The successful candidate will manage advanced aerosol and spray research facilities within the Multiphase Flow Laboratory and oversee data collection, software development, data analysis, and numerical modelling. They will also contribute to publications and presentations, collaborate on joint research outputs, present at conferences, and co-supervise undergraduate students.

Applicants should have experience working in a research laboratory setting, and expertise in engineering numerical modelling and simulation.

  • 10. Demonstrated expertise in Engineering numerical modelling and simulation. Experience in computational fluid dynamics
