The Opportunity

Monash Retail is looking for an enthusiastic Supermarket Retail Supervisor. The Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Retail Team to deliver high quality customer service including transacting sales and assisting in the day‑to‑day retail operations. In addition, this position is responsible for providing reliable and efficient service to the supermarket including assisting with stock purchasing and replenishment, accurate receipting of goods, shelf packing, stock-takes, pricing, setting gross margins & stock write/offs. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in a fast paced Supermarket/Retail environment with a hands on approach and a focus on high quality customer service 
  • Administrative skills and computer literacy as required to assist with stock control, daily receipt of goods, and stock markdown/write off procedures
  • Experience using a point of sale system such Worldsmart with demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes
  • Sound organisational skills, including the ability to manage time, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
  • Experience in purchasing stock from suppliers and replenishing stock
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team as well as independently under broad supervision
  • Ability to undertake shift supervision
