The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated, proactive, and motivated Alumni manager, with excellent relationship building, cross-cultural communications, and stakeholder management skills to join the Monash Arts Alumni & External Relations team.

You will be responsible for managing and delivering strategies for alumni relations, events, and have varied responsibilities including coordinating, delivering, and promoting activities and events that build the Faculty’s alumni community, both domestically and internationally. You will hold a key role in developing an understanding of alumni segments and delivering tailored strategies to ensure strong and meaningful relationships are developed.

You will work closely with academics, students, staff, career development, recruitment, events, marketing and internal partners such as External Relations, Development and Alumni (ERDA) to ensure appropriate systems, processes and capability are in place to support our alumni community.

The successful candidates will have excellent communications and relationships building skills. Candidates who have worked in a dynamic area, ideally within an alumni, community or membership engagement function will be held in high regard. Experience working in education, whilst not essential, would be advantageous.
