The Opportunity

Are you an experienced finance professional with a knack for contract management and a passion for driving commercial success? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team supporting the RISE Program!

As a Senior Finance and Contracts Officer, you’ll leverage your accounting expertise to provide specialised services in planning, advising, contract management, budgeting, forecasting, costing, transaction management, economic modelling, analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the RISE Program meets its objectives within specified timeframes, budgets, and quality measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Contribute to planning activities, improve financial capability, and administer financial services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Contract Management: Support the development and implementation of contractual research agreements and program budgets
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, internal partners, and the RISE Chief Operating Officer to achieve commercial outcomes
  • Funding and Grants: Assist in supporting funding bids and meeting grant deliverables
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement procedures, financial controls, and frameworks to enhance financial management
