The Opportunity
As the Executive Assistant you will provide a wide range of high-level administrative support and office management services to the Vice-President (External Engagement) and other senior managers and colleagues within the External Engagement portfolio. This position will undertake key Executive Assistant and office management functions to ensure the smooth and professional operation of the office including: drafting correspondence, facilitating communication, scheduling meetings, event management and coordination, secretarial support, asset management, onboarding and offboarding, diary management and liaising with university staff and external bodies.
In this role, you will facilitate effective communication and workflow, producing and editing papers, briefings, presentations and other written advice. You will take responsibility for high level email, calendar and travel management, data entry in the University’s CRM system, meeting coordination, whilst applying and advising on policy and coordinating events such as workshops, functions and conferences.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience providing professional administrative and executive support in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. With a commitment to excellent customer service, you will have experience effectively managing competing priorities, working independently, and collaborating within a team. You will also have highly developed communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders and resolve complex issues with positive outcomes.
