The Opportunity

What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to strategic planning and portfolio management.
- Drive high-impact interventions and apply best practices for emissions reduction.
- Lead and supervise program delivery, ensuring quality and timely results.
- Develop strong partnerships and leverage internal expertise.
- Represent Climateworks externally and export our best practices globally.
- Demonstrate leadership values, coach your team, and ensure their wellbeing.
What We're Looking For:
- Post-graduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience in climate change, sustainable development, or related fields.
- Proven experience in project and program design and delivery in heavy industry.
- Strong understanding of international industrial decarbonisation drivers and barriers.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a knack for innovation and securing funding.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.
- Outstanding planning, organisational, and project management abilities.
- High levels of judgement, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills.
