The Opportunity

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to strategic planning and portfolio management.
  • Drive high-impact interventions and apply best practices for emissions reduction.
  • Lead and supervise program delivery, ensuring quality and timely results.
  • Develop strong partnerships and leverage internal expertise.
  • Represent Climateworks externally and export our best practices globally.
  • Demonstrate leadership values, coach your team, and ensure their wellbeing.

What We're Looking For:

  • Post-graduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience in climate change, sustainable development, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in project and program design and delivery in heavy industry.
  • Strong understanding of international industrial decarbonisation drivers and barriers.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a knack for innovation and securing funding.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.
  • Outstanding planning, organisational, and project management abilities.
  • High levels of judgement, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills.
