The Opportunity

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) have an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Educational Design Project Lead.

The Educational Design Project Lead is responsible for enhancing the EDI team’s training suite for students, staff and other stakeholders. This project will involve reviewing current EDI educational offerings and content, and developing new training programs (predominantly online modules) as directed, in-line with research, evidence, and legislative demand. Working in close collaboration with both the EDI team’s Community and Culture and Strategy & Governance functions, the Project Lead will provide advice on effective approaches to strengthen and advance whole-of-community learning within the context of EDI and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) prevention.

As the successful candidate you will collaboratively lead the review of the EDI training suite, which includes the review, design and/or re-design, and content development of online modules and workshops which includes evaluation processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing expert educational advice and guidance to the Director, EDI and the broader EDI team around EDI and SGBV training and assessment, and the use of digital platforms to support these interventions.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in educational design; or extensive experience and management expertise in educational design; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
