The Opportunity

As the Associate Director, Scheduling Operations, you will support the University’s teaching and learning functions by leading the coordination of university-wide scheduling services. In this position, you will drive continuous evidence-based service innovations in scheduling operations, in alignment with Monash’s vision for the student experience. You will also work in close partnership with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) and Senior Vice-President to ensure the alignment of immediate and future aspirations and enable at-scale execution of decisions.

Leveraging your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, you will lead and foster a division that collaborates with Academic and Professional staff across the University, providing expert advice and supporting surrounding business processes and practices within Scheduling Operations that have a direct and positive impact on student experience. 

Essential to this position is a thorough knowledge and understanding of student administration in a tertiary education environment, and sound knowledge of university and faculty student administration regulations, policies and procedures.  In addition, the successful candidate will have outstanding leadership and management skills, in order to drive continuous capability uplift, as well as provide ongoing coaching and mentoring.
