The Opportunity

Are you a skilled research professional with a passion for driving innovation in antimicrobial resistance (AMR)? The Centre to Impact AMR is seeking an experienced Research Manager to oversee and deliver high-quality research services, amplify Centre visibility, and expand funding and industry engagement.

In this senior role, you will work closely with the Centre Director to implement a new structure and membership funding model to ensure that the Centre is fully operational. You’ll also lead strategic initiatives in grant development, stakeholder engagement, research administration, and social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic and operational research planning to enhance Centre outcomes
  • Oversee major grant applications, budget planning, and industry collaborations
  • Strengthen the Centre’s public engagement, professional development, and visibility
  • Ensure compliance, quality assurance, and risk management for research programs
  • Manage communications, social media, and outreach to expand the Centre’s impact

About You:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience in research management
  • Strong expertise in research administration, grant writing, and stakeholder engagement
  • Proven track record in interdisciplinary research and industry collaboration
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to influence and build strong partnerships across sectors
