About Us
Monash Law Clinics are dedicated to providing a range of community legal services and programs. Our services are conducted by experienced legal practitioners and supervised undergraduate and postgraduate law students. We aim to demonstrate the Faculty's professional capability and community commitment while offering students valuable clinical experience in professional practice. Our clinics include Monash Law Clinic - Clayton, Monash Law Clinic - Melbourne CBD, and Springvale Monash Legal Service.
The Opportunity - Five Part-Time Positions!
We are seeking Administrative Officers to join our team on a continuing part time basis, with two positions available at Clayton, two at our CBD office, and one position that will work at both sites; the positions may be required to move between the two locations from time to time for training and staff coverage.
In this role, you will provide professional reception and client service duties, as well as administrative assistance and office support to the Director of Monash Law Clinics and other team members. Your responsibilities will include fielding calls, scheduling appointments, triaging legal service requests, and providing administrative support for legal clinics and projects.
About You
You are a dedicated professional with excellent front-line reception and administration skills. Your well-developed written and verbal communication skills enable you to interact with a diverse range of clients and resolve issues positively. You are highly organized, able to set priorities, manage time, and meet deadlines, and your commitment to excellence in customer service and hands-on approach to service provision make you an effective team member. Your ability to exercise sound judgment, and uphold strict confidentiality, combined with your proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Office, will make you a valuable asset to our team.
