The Opportunity
Join the Monash Residential Services team as a Community Support Senior Coordinator!
The Senior Community Support Coordinator is responsible for embedding the new MRS Residential Support model via training and supporting the Community Support Officers (contractors) with after-hours incident management in accordance with Critical Incident Management Protocols, Monash policy and procedures within a residential community (i.e, hall, units, flats, houses).
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for providing advice to senior management, and initiate and implement continuous improvement activities relating to Monash Residential Services’ incident management practices. Additionally, you will provide incident management and record management training to Community Support Officers upskilling staff in latest trends, programs and response techniques.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background with substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience working managing incidents in a tertiary residential support environment; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
This position operates fully on-site, 5 days a week, between the hours of 7.30pm - 3.30am and may involve weekend work.
