The Opportunity
Join the Monash University Performing Arts Centres as a Technical Production Assistant.
This role requires you to work out of hours and will require you to work on weekends and late nights.
The Technical Production Assistant plays a critical role as part of the technical team at Monash University Performing Arts Centres (MPAC) providing creative and technical assistance for events in MPAC's venues.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for assisting with the operation of technical production services for events in MPAC venues including stage mechanics, lighting, audio and vision, ensuring that technical needs are delivered professionally to the highest standards and in a safe and efficient manner. Further, you will assist in the technical delivery for venue client’s, with particular focus on quality technical execution and safe work practices.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a certificate level qualification; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
