The Opportunity

As the International Innovation Program Lead, you will lead aspects of the planning, delivery and evaluation of Water Sensitive Cities Australia’s international innovation projects and provide executive level strategic advice and support to the CEO. This will include supporting with the international strategy, business development and stakeholder engagement as well as actively supporting research and proposal development, and workshop design and facilitation. In addition, you will provide high-quality services including portfolio planning, contract negotiation, project delivery, provision of advice and recommendations and reporting to facilitate the translation and adoption of WSC research through partnership and fee-for-service activities.

Leveraging your highly developed project management and consulting skills, you will lead a range of project delivery responsibilities, including working with researchers and consultancies and managing project steering groups, as well as coordinating multi country and multilingual projects.

The successful candidate will have expert knowledge in water sensitive cities, as well as extensive urban water and/or international development networks. In addition, this position requires highly developed interpersonal skills in order to interact, inspire, influence and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders.
