The Opportunity
Join the Education Development Unit as a Senior Adviser, Learning and Teaching.
The Senior Adviser, Learning and Teaching contributes to the strategic learning goals of the Portfolio which seek to transform teaching and learning across Monash University. They provide advice on approaches to strengthen and advance teaching and learning across Faculties and within the wider University. The Senior Adviser, Learning and Teaching advises on the Programmatic Assessment and Artificial Intelligence Project (PAAIR).
As the successful candidate, you will establish and lead collaboration with faculties to plan and manage the implementation of the Programmatic Approach and AI Review (PAAIR) project, and other programs and initiatives that respond to the vision and priorities of the Portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education). Additionally, you will provide expert advice and guidance around teaching, learning and assessment and the use of technology platforms and genAI to enhance and transform learning and teaching.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
