The Opportunity

The Senior Finance Business Partner plays a key role in delivering high-quality financial management services, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. Collaborating closely with client groups within the Faculty of Education, this role provides tailored, business-focused financial advice and support to enhance financial capability and drive the achievement of operational and strategic objectives.

This position is responsible for managing the development and implementation of the Faculty’s budget plan, establishing effective internal control systems, and designing intervention strategies to address financial management challenges. 

As the successful candidate, you will possess strong operational management skills with extensive experience in budgeting, financial analysis, project costing, and systems improvement within complex organisations. You will excel in prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing projects, with the ability to lead teams, resolve challenges, and deliver impactful outcomes.

Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and provide innovative solutions. With advanced numeracy, analytical abilities, and a solid understanding of accounting standards, you bring a proactive and collaborative approach to financial management.
