The Opportunity
The School of Psychological Sciences and the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health has an exciting position available as Executive and Project Officer. This position will support senior leadership and contribute to the effective delivery of research and academic activities through high-level coordination of diaries, meetings, events and internal communications.
The Executive and Project Officer will also play an integral part in progressing strategic and operational projects by supporting project scoping, tracking milestones and preparing high-quality documentation and reporting. With responsibility for liaising across multiple stakeholder groups, the position serves as a key connection point between the school executive, institute director, colleagues and external partners. It facilitates coordination across committees and working groups, ensures timely follow-up of actions and helps maintain strong internal operations that enable academic and research excellence.
Requiring a relevant degree or equivalent experience, the role calls for strong administrative and project coordination skills, attention to detail and sound judgement. The role offers a dynamic and varied scope of work within a vibrant academic setting, providing the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of mental health and psychological science.
