The Opportunity

An opportunity has become available to advance education in the field of biotechnology. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Level A academic (Assistant Lecturer) to contribute to the teaching and learning experience within the Master of Biotechnology program. This role focuses on undergraduate and graduate diploma education, where you will prepare and deliver engaging learning activities, mark assessments, and support unit coordination. Your commitment to high-quality teaching will directly enhance student outcomes and shape the next generation of professionals in this exciting and rapidly evolving field.

As an Assistant Lecturer, you will play a key role in a broad range of academic activities. These include conducting tutorials, practical classes, workshops, and co-coordination of units with a senior academic, as well as developing and presenting lectures and seminars where appropriate. You'll also consult with students, provide feedback, and contribute to the production of high-quality teaching materials. With the opportunity to participate in research and professional activities, this position offers a balance between teaching excellence and scholarly development.

This position reports to the Master of Biotechnology Course Director at the Australia Regenerative Medicine Institute, a hub of innovation and scientific discovery.

The Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute has made major contributions to regenerative medicine and stem cell research. This would not be possible without the efforts of its researchers, management boards, committees, stakeholders, and generous donors.
