The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager to join us in cultivating donor relationships and fundraising for the Faculties of Engineering, Science and Information Technology (STEM), ensuring that they are aligned with the University's strategic objectives. Your key duties will include but not be limited to:
- Working to secure philanthropic commitments to STEM based initiatives from a large and diverse portfolio of prospects and donors
- Liaising with a range of internal stakeholders to develop donor cultivation strategies, programs and initiatives
- Providing expert advice to senior stakeholders on the best donor solicitation techniques
- Enhancing the reputation of Development as a strategic partner with relevant Faculties and Institutes in relation to donor engagement and the solicitation of philanthropic funds
About YOU!
To be successfully considered for this role, you will ideally have fundraising experience within the higher education or not-for-profit sector, demonstrating your ability to work within a large and complex organisation. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise, consult and negotiate confidently and professionally with external and internal stakeholders, across the STEM faculties and the broader University.
