The Opportunity
We have two exciting opportunities for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions within the Physiotherapy Department, each playing a key role in shaping the future of physiotherapy education. These roles will contribute significantly to the development and delivery of content across our entry-to-practice courses. The roles will help lead and innovate in teaching, ensuring that our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to meet the evolving demands of the profession and the diverse needs of healthcare systems.
These positions will bring broad knowledge and experience across various clinical areas, enhancing the student experience in both acute and community-based settings. Expertise in areas such as evidence-based practice, cultural safety, and professional behaviour will support the growth of our students, empowering them to become competent, compassionate, and adaptable practitioners.
The ideal candidate for these positions will have extensive experience in both academic and clinical settings. You should possess a high level of interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team across both the education and service sectors. Additionally, the successful candidates should have significant research experience, including leading research teams and projects, with a proven ability to obtain external grants for research initiatives.

The Monash University Department of Physiotherapy is renowned for its excellence in education and research. It offers two premier programs: the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and the Doctor of Physiotherapy. The department is known for its dynamic and research-informed approach to teaching, with over 20 PhD students contributing to cutting-edge research.
