The Opportunity
We are seeking applications for a Senior Manager, Alumni Engagement who will play a critical role in driving initiatives that foster lifelong connections with over 500,000 alumni worldwide. Working closely with the Deputy Director, Alumni Engagement, you will drive strategic alignment in the development and delivery of high-value programs and lead efforts to align alumni engagement with the University's global priorities.
As Senior Manager, Alumni Engagement you will be responsible for contributing to strategic planning and the achievement of business unit and university goals. You will manage complex functions involving significant resources, in accordance with university policies, procedures and strategic priorities and lead a highly skilled team focused on continuous improvement. Your role will include driving strategic projects, ensuring compliance with University policies, and delivering high-level business reporting. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance business practices and contribute expert advice, ensuring the success of the Alumni Engagement Plan and addressing global challenges in line with Impact 2030.
The successful candidate will have superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the proven ability to build strong relationships, influence decisions, and achieve consensus at senior levels. Proven expertise in developing and delivering strategies, managing large projects, and driving change is essential. You will also have advanced analytical skills with the ability to derive valuable insights from data, alongside strong planning and organisational abilities to effectively manage resources and meet deadlines in a complex environment. Experience leading high-performance teams and guiding policy development will be key to success in this role.
