The Opportunity

Join the Student Conducts and Complaints team as a Senior Student Complaints Adviser.

The Senior Student Complaints Adviser applies high-level judgement, decision making and investigative expertise to provide a range of specialist advisory and administrative services to support the University’s Student Conduct and Complaints function. 

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for undertaking student complaint investigations, prepare reports, communications and outcomes in relation to student complaints and make recommendations to management and other stakeholders as required on appropriate courses of action and remediation where required. Further, you will manage and coordinate the operation of a specialist area or function in accordance with best practice and University Statutes, regulations, policies, procedures and strategic priorities. 

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
