The Opportunity
Do you have a passion for user experience and digital communication? Do you want to work in a dynamic and collaborative team that supports the Monash University Library’s digital presence? If so, you might be the Web and Digital Coordinator we are looking for!
As the Web and Digital Coordinator, you will play a key role in the maintenance and development of the Library’s website, digital screens, and user-focused guides. You will provide technical, analytical and content support for web design and development projects, informed by UX and analytics. You will also coordinate complex projects and build strong and collaborative relationships with colleagues, subject matter experts and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical skills in web development, including editing software, image manipulation software, CSS, HTML, JavaScript and use of Google Analytics
- Strong understanding of content design principles and UX
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse stakeholders
- Strong web design skills and demonstrated experience using a content management system, preferably Squiz
- Experience in video/multimedia editing and production, and the operation and maintenance of online booking platforms such as Calendly
