The Opportunity
Monash University Publishing is seeking a motivated and highly capable Publishing Officer, with excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask and initiative in spades.
In this integral position you will provide administrative support to a small, busy team, including coordinating mailouts, fulfilling customer orders, processing invoices and maintaining databases. You will also manage the submissions inbox and assist in reading and assessing manuscripts, liaising with authors, external readers and peer reviewers, and helping with production checks and proofreading as required. And you will assist our marketing and publicity team in the development and preparation of marketing campaigns and socials, collateral and promotional materials for print and online.
This is a rare opportunity to join a respected university publisher with a strong team dynamic.
