The Department of General Practice, a leader in primary care education and research, is seeking an outstanding academic to drive the future of general practice teaching within our prestigious medical degree (MD) program.

As the Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) and General Practice Curriculum and Assessment Lead, you will:

  • Lead and innovate curriculum design, delivery, and assessment for our Year 4C General Practice rotation, across metropolitan, rural, and international sites.
  • Inspire and support medical students through high-quality teaching, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Drive educational excellence by leading a talented academic and professional staff team.
  • Shape the future of general practice education through scholarly research, innovation, and professional engagement.

What we’re looking for:

  • Fellowship of the RACGP (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration.
  • A passion for medical education and proven success in curriculum development, teaching, and assessment.
  • Leadership skills to guide a dynamic team and foster collaborations across campuses and with external partners.
  • A track record of educational scholarship or equivalent clinical/academic contributions.
