The Opportunity

Join a dynamic academic environment as Lecturer (Practice) in General Practice and play an important role in shaping a vibrant academic environment, using clinical expertise to strengthen curriculum development and create a rich, practical learning experience. The role builds strong connections with the profession and supports students as they develop the skills and knowledge needed for their future careers.

This position will contribute to the ongoing design and delivery of educational programs in General Practice and support students as they undertake placements and clinical learning. The role engages with industry, government and professional bodies to build networks and identify opportunities for student engagement and practical work experience. It offers consultancy and advisory services within the School and promotes key initiatives that strengthen the Faculty’s educational and professional impact.

We are seeking someone who holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice or an equivalent specialist qualification and current medical registration with AHPRA or an equivalent international body. Strong skills in curriculum and teaching material development, demonstrated teaching experience and the ability to build collaborative relationships with students and colleagues are essential.
