The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and organised Operations Officer to join the Faculty of Law. In this key role, you will provide a range of administrative services to support teaching and research across all Faculty sites, including those that are owned and leased.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating building maintenance, managing office consumables and central procurement requests, and supporting contractor and vendor engagement. You will also assist with various projects and programs, offering administrative support as directed by the Operations Manager.
A core part of the role involves supporting the management of operational risk and occupational health and safety (OHS), with a strong focus on process excellence and the provision of timely, practical advice to staff, students, and other stakeholders.
You will have strong administration skills and experience delivering effective operational processes and systems. Your excellent organisational abilities allow you to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines. With a hands-on, customer-focused approach, you are committed to delivering high-quality service to staff, students, and stakeholders.
You work well both independently and as part of a team, exercising sound judgment when needed. Your strong communication skills and ability to engage with a diverse range of people support your collaborative style, while your analytical and problem-solving skills help you respond effectively to challenges.
