The Opportunity

The Web Content Coordinator in the Faculty of Education plays a key role in the maintenance and development of the Faculty’s web presence. Supporting all faculty staff, particularly the senior management team, in relation to web content and design.

Working in a collaborative and close-knit team, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and continually monitoring existing Monash Education web pages and intranet using the current content management system, ensuring adherence to brand, editorial and web style guidelines. The Web Content Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating web-related projects in collaboration with Faculty and University stakeholders.

The successful incumbent will also be representing the Faculty at appropriate forums and committees, involved in web content development, design and management.

Having prior high-level computer literacy particularly with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web development and analytics tools and significant experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva to create high-quality digital assets. 

The incumbent will also need to have demonstrated experience in managing websites using a content management system, preferably Squiz Matrix, and a solid understanding of best practice web design principles including web analytics and SEO will be highly regarded.
