The Opportunity
As the Senior Academic Resources and Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing academic workload allocation, resourcing, and scheduling to support Monash Law’s teaching programs, Clinical Guarantee, and student experience. Working within the Finance and Resources team, you will oversee timetabling, workforce engagement, onboarding, and workload allocation, ensuring alignment with budget and faculty priorities. You will provide specialist advice on academic resourcing, collaborate with senior faculty leaders, and develop solutions to complex scheduling and workforce planning challenges.
This role offers the opportunity to drive efficiency and continuous improvement, integrating sessional and clinical staff into the Faculty while optimising academic workload allocation and scheduling processes. You will analyse data to inform workforce planning, liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, and support financial and HR processes related to academic staffing.

With excellent planning and organisational skills, you excel at setting priorities, implementing improvements, and ensuring deadlines are met. Your ability to build relationships and negotiate positive outcomes allows you to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Your analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to navigate complex challenges and recommend effective solutions. With highly developed communication skills, you prepare professional documentation and provide expert advice with confidence. Your advanced computer literacy, particularly in business management software, supports your ability to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.
If you are passionate about operational excellence, strategic planning, and contributing to a world-class law faculty, we’d love to hear from you!
