The Opportunity
We have a unique opportunity for education-focused academic to assist in shaping the future of learning in higher education. As a Lecturer (Education Focused) in the Department of Physiology, you will be part of an elite group of teaching specialists dedicated to advancing excellence in education. You will contribute meaningfully to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of innovative teaching practices, all while being supported by a world-class academic community.
In this role, you will play a key part in engaging students through dynamic and inclusive learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering diverse teaching activities—such as lectures, tutorials, workshops, and practical classes—that inspire active learning and promote student success. You will also support students through consultations and foster a flexible, student-centred environment that embraces a variety of teaching technologies and approaches.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to build a scholarly teaching profile and contribute to Monash's reputation for excellence in education. With guidance from senior academic staff, you will gain increasing autonomy as you develop your expertise.
