The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Executive Officer – International Engagement to support the Vice President (International Engagement) and senior leaders within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will deliver high-level administrative, secretarial and communication support to ensure the smooth functioning of a fast-paced, globally focused office.
This position will be responsible for coordinating a wide range of executive support functions, including managing complex travel arrangements, diary and meeting schedules, HR and finance tasks, and supporting planning and events. You will act as a key liaison between the Vice President, internal staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and timely follow-up on actions. The role also involves preparing agendas and minutes for committees, supporting projects, managing records, sourcing content for presentations and reports, and maintaining systems.
To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience providing executive support in a dynamic and complex environment, along with excellent organisational and time management skills. Your attention to detail, sound judgement, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion will set you apart. Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills are essential, as is a high level of computer literacy. Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse stakeholders will be highly valued in this globally engaged role.
