The Opportunity

The Manager, Operations plays a key leadership role in delivering efficient and effective operational services across the Faculty. The position oversees Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW), leads the executive support and client services teams and ensures high-quality support for the Office of the Dean and Faculty governance.

With oversight of operations across multiple campuses, the role manages infrastructure, procurement, budgeting, onboarding and facilities coordination. As the Faculty’s Safety Officer, the Manager ensures compliance with HSW requirements and oversees emergency response procedures.

The role also supports governance processes and maintains timely updates on risks and strategic objectives via the CAMMS and Cascade platforms. This is a critical position ensuring operational excellence and alignment with University priorities.

As the successful candidate, you will have experience leading high-performing teams, managing complex operations and driving continuous improvement. You will bring expertise in HSW compliance, project and change management and providing strategic advice across diverse portfolios. Your ability to oversee a broad range of functions, including infrastructure, budgeting, procurement and staff onboarding, will be key to ensuring operational efficiency. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, combined with a proactive and solutions-focused approach, will position you to effectively support strategic goals and align faculty operations with University priorities.
