The Opportunity
We are seeking a professional Knowledge Coordinator to support the larger Monash Connect Operations and Service Delivery teams across our Australian campuses in the delivery of Monash Connect’s knowledge management strategy to manage the defining, organisation, storing and sharing of University information with Monash Connect employees to enable the delivery of Monash Connect’s services. A big part of this role is planning the implementation of a robust categorisation system for organising knowledge assets, ensuring content is logically structured, easily retrievable, and accurately reflects university policies, services and procedures.
Operating with excellence in process and judgement to provide sound and timely advice and support to clients, staff and other stakeholders the Knowledge Coordinator provides a range of high-level administrative and coordination services to support the effective creation, organisation, maintenance, and dissemination of knowledge within the contact centre. The position also provides support to projects and events and undertakes a variety of general administrative duties to meet the operational demands of the team.
To be a successful member of our team you will have:
- Excellent administration skills and a demonstrated capacity to develop and implement effective operational processes and systems with an understanding on knowledge management assets and content assessment
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time and plan work to meet deadlines for projects and continuous improvement activities
- A strong commitment to excellence in customer service and a hands-on approach to service provision
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a team as well as the ability to exercise high levels of independence, judgement and initiative
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding that the role provides specialist advice and support to clients and colleagues
- Demonstrated coordination and leadership skills, with the ability to guide a team of Senior Officers in maintaining and updating knowledge articles.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders and negotiate positive outcomes to complex issues, including collecting information and content from a diverse range of specialities
- Highly developed computer literacy, including experience using business software such as Microsoft Office and other relevant knowledge/content management software
You will also have the flexibility to work outside of regular work hours (including evenings) in accordance with a rotational roster across 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday.
