The Opportunity
As the Studio Lab Manager, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership to enhance the Faculty of Education’s teaching and learning through the integration of digital technologies, multimedia, and innovative teaching practices. Leading a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you’ll ensure the delivery of high-quality educational services, audiovisual and IT resource management, and the development of creative digital content.
This role also plays a key part in capability building by designing and delivering workshops and seminars that enable academic staff and students to effectively use teaching and learning technologies, ultimately supporting outstanding educational and research outcomes.
As the successful candidate, you will have deep expertise in audiovisual and educational technologies, with a strong track record of leading training initiatives and advising senior stakeholders. Your excellent communication skills and ability to engage with a diverse range of users will support effective collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the Faculty.
You will demonstrate strong leadership in managing teams and resources, with the ability to deliver innovative, tech-enabled solutions. High-level digital literacy, including proficiency with Google Suite, LMS platforms, media production tools and AV systems, along with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, will be key to your success in this role.
