The Opportunity
Monash University is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Officer to support the successful delivery of a strategic project relating to our international campuses and campus infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with project leaders, stakeholders, and partners, providing high-level coordination and administrative support to ensure that key deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.
This position will be responsible for delivering a range of essential project coordination services including scoping and tracking deliverables, monitoring timelines, and preparing high-quality reports, briefings, and communications. You will support project committees and meetings, manage documentation, provide expert advice, and act as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders. The role also includes research and analysis to inform project decisions, as well as managing logistics for workshops and events. As a central figure in the project team, your contributions will directly support the success and continuous improvement of project operations.
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent project coordination and administrative skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with ease. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to build effective relationships and confidently liaise with a range of stakeholders. You will be adept at working both independently and as part of a team, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. High-level computer literacy, including proficiency in project management software, is essential.
