The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity now exists to join the Monash mRNA Workforce Training Centre as a Business Development Specialist, contributing to a team tasked with developing and executing the business development strategy to launch a suite of industry-focused short courses. 

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for assisting in formulating and executing business development processes that align with the Centre’s mission and revenue growth objectives. You will proactively engage with industry leads to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and convert opportunities into business, while triaging high-value prospects to the Centre Director and Manager, Operations and Partnerships for further engagement. Additionally, you will manage all short course enquiries and oversee lead and opportunity communications with both current and prospective participants.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about building strong relationships with clients and have a strong educational background, preferably within the Higher Education or learning and development sector. Experience in sales reporting and analytics—such as tracking activity, revenue, performance, and forecasting would be highly regarded and beneficial to success in this role.
