The Opportunity

As Manager, Planning and Performance you will lead the strategic and operational planning agenda for the Faculty of Law, driving data‑informed insight and continuous business improvement. You’ll translate the Faculty’s strategic vision into actionable initiatives that enhance student experience, research impact, reputation and financial sustainability, ensuring alignment with the University’s broader objectives.

As the successful candidate, you will provide support to the Faculty Executive, leading planning governance, performance monitoring, and data-driven analysis to align faculty activities with university priorities. Your responsibilities include overseeing planning frameworks, building and evaluating business cases, supporting HR-led workforce forecasting, preparing reports and briefs, engaging key stakeholders internally and externally, contributing to executive committee work, and promoting a culture of continuous operational improvement.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess proven expertise in formulating responses to complex strategic initiatives, using contemporary project management methodologies. You will have the ability to source and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data and have experience working with financial budgets. Additionally, you will have demonstrated experience in writing comprehensive reports, briefings, and planning documents. Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels, are essential.
