The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Registry Coordinator to lead the operations of the Australasian Pelvic Floor Procedure Registry (APFPR) – a flagship national clinical quality registry that monitors and improves the safety and effectiveness of surgical procedures and devices used to treat pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence in women.
The APFPR is managed by the Clinical Outcomes data Reporting and Research Program (CORRP), within the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SPHPM) – Australia's largest and most respected School of Public Health. With over 50 active sites across the country and expansion to New Zealand underway, this is a rare opportunity to lead high-impact registry work that informs national health policy, clinical care and public awareness.
Your Impact
As the Senior Registry Coordinator, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver registry operations, clinician engagement, ethics and governance compliance, stakeholder liaison and performance reporting. You will play a central role in driving data quality, supporting registry research outputs and shaping national and international conversations around pelvic floor health.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of the APFPR’s core operational activities and supporting national rollout
- Overseeing ethics and governance processes, including HREC and site submissions and support the implementation of PROMS and New Zealand integration
- Leading development of key registry outputs including reports, communications and the Annual Public Report
- Managing team performance, project timelines, deliverables and stakeholder relationships
About You
You will be a proactive, collaborative and organised registry or research professional with a passion for women’s health and public health improvement. You bring leadership skills, a solid understanding of registry operations and research governance, and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships across a diverse and dynamic environment.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- A degree in health or social sciences, with experience in registry or clinical research coordination
- Demonstrated knowledge of registry operations, or health services/clinical research including clinician engagement, data collection and reporting and a strong understanding of ethics, privacy and government frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence engaging with clinicians, funders and stakeholders
- Experience leading a team in a research or clinical environment
- Familiarity with REDCap and strong data management and reporting skills
